My lotions follow Anne-Marie Faiola recipe “Creamy Goat Milk Soap”

I use only fresh goats’ milk from our very own Alpine and Nubian dairy goats. I have chosen to keep this cold press soap recipe because its so creamy and luxurious. The ingredients are the same and only change up fragrances.

 

This recipe includes:

 Apricot Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil Pomace, Cocoa Butter Cubes, Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide Lye, Fresh Goat Milk, Fragrance Oil and Almond Oil with Titanium Dioxide.

 

Our handcrafted soap is great for the skin. Goat milk is particularly moisturizing and nourishing to the skin because of capric-caprylic triglyceride. Capric-caprylic triglyceride is an effective skin moisturizer that helps to contribute to skin softness by forming a barrier on the skin to help inhibit the loss of moisture from daily activities and environmental factors. Goat milk soap also has naturally occurring lactic acid that helps keep skin smooth by encouraging skin turnover. It contains many vitamins, specifically A, D and B6 as well as the anti-oxidant selenium. To help soap last longer, keep soap bar in a soap tray.
